BizDiary can now create simple receipts for appointments, and other items.
The receipting functions are fairly basic, and in no way intended as an alternative to a proper accounting/book-keeping system.
These receipts are mainly intended to provide a simple way of producing a receipt, especially for users who do not have access to the business’ main accounting system.
There is a new page in Account > Settings where you can customise the text for receipts, set up the numbering of receipts, and set a tax rate.
There are also new fields in Services for receipts.

With the addition of new reports over recent months the Run Report menu was looking a little disorganised. We’ve relabelled some of the reports and sorted them into alphabetical order to make it easier for you to find the report you are looking for.
Improved session handling on portable and wireless devices
Some users had reported issues with sessions unexpectedly timing out when using portable devices, or wireless ADSL.
We have made some changes to eliminate this problem.
Special characters in Email Addresses
We have extended the range of characters available for email addresses to include some of the more unusual characters that can be used in email addresses, such as the apostrophe.
