How do I change my username?

You can change the user name that you use to access BizDiary.  You might for example want to change the default "admin" user name to your own name, or you might want a simpler user name.

Changing your user name is easy...

1. Login to BizDiary.
2. Click on the user menu (top right of screen) and select Edit User.
3. Enter your new user name in the Username field.
4. Click the [Save] button.

Username requirements:

User names are NOT case sensitive.

There are very few restrictions on your user name.  You can include letters, numbers, spaces, punctuation and symbols. The maximum length is 40 characters.

Example of valid user names...

• john
• John S
• JS
• 170347

Because user names are so flexible you can choose an obscure user name to provide an added level of security to your account.
