How do I view wait-listed appointments?

There are two types of wait-listed appointments you can use for different situations.

Types of Wait-listed Appointments

  1. Prefer-new: These appointments remain visible in the Calendar.  The customer will still come at the original appointment time, but they would prefer a different time.
  2. Reschedule: These appointments are NOT visible in the Calendar.  The customer was unable to get the time they needed.

Viewing the Wait-list

A summary of Wait listed appointments is shown on the Home page (such as when you log in).  Clicking the link takes you to the wait-list.

You can also access the list by going to Appointments > Wait-list.

In the list, Reschedule appointments are shown with their date and time crossed out.  This is done to signify that they do not use up space in the calendar.

As with other lists you can sort the list by clicking on the column headers.  For example if you want to check who has been waiting the longest you might want to click on the Wait-list since column.

In the Calendar

Prefer-new appointments appear in the calendar, much like other appointments.  They show a hand icon - like someone holding up their hand to get your attention. (Note: the hand only shows if space allows, for example in the Day Planner and Weekly views).

Reschedule appointments DO NOT appear in the Calendar.
